#5282 - Length: 34" - HDR: 6 5/8" wd. 7 3/8" dp.
Western Star side frame
This frame has four 1/4" NC threaded holes along each edge, ten 3/8" NF threaded holes on the back, two mounting bosses for cross bars, and two mounting studs to mount the CAC. There are 12 bolt holes on each end.
These frames are not interchangeable - order left or right accordingly.
Note: this frame is very similar to frame #528.
#5281 - LGTH. 37" - 28 lbs - Top & Bottom Flanges. 6 1/2" w. 7 3/8" dp.
Western Star side frame
This frame has four 5/16" NC Threaded holes along the back of the flange, two 3/8" NC studs on the sides, and twenty x 3/8" NC threaded holes along the back of the frame for mounting blocks, etc.
These frames are interchangeable - Left or Right.
Note: these frames are used in conjunction with tank #5093.

Western Star side frame
Top and bottom flanges each have 12 holes, 4 tapped 5/16" N.C. threads and 8 drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Each side of channel has 4 - 1/4" N.C. threaded holes. Back of channel has ten 3/8" N.F. threaded holes. NOTE: Side frames are interchangeable.
#527 - LGTH 31" - 22 lbs. Top & Bottom Flanges: 6 5/8" w X 7 1/2" dp.
Western Star side frame
Top & bottom flanges have 12 holes in each, 4 tapped 5/16" N.C. threads and 8 drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Four 1/4" N.C. threaded holes in each side of channel. Ten 3/8" N.C. threaded holes on back of channel. ( 1 group of 4; 1 group of 6) Gussets have rectangular cut-outs for tube access. NOTE: Side frames are interchangeable.

Top flange also has an over hang extending to 12 1/2" with 3 more holes drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Gusset on over hang has 6 holes, 5 of them drilled 7/16" dia. and one 3/4" dia. Various other holes for brackets & shroud etc. NOTE: Frames are not interchangeable. Order left for driver's side or right for passenger side or pairs.

Top & bottom flanges each have 11 holes, six drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts and five tapped 5/16" N.C. threads. Top flange extends to 12 1/2" wide with three more holes drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Gusset on top supports overhang with six holes drilled 7/16" dia. and one hole 3/4" dia. Various other holes for shroud & brackets etc. NOTE: Frames are not interchangeable. Order left for driver's side or right for passenger's side or pairs.

#523 - LGTH: 31 9/16" - 19 lbs. Top Flange: 10 3/8" w. X 4 5/8" dp. Bottom Flange: 6" w. X 4 1/8" dp.
Western Star side frame
Top flange has 12 holes, 7 tapped 5/16" N.C. threads and 5 drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Bottom flange has 9 holes, 4 tapped 5/16" N.C. threads and 5 drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Five 1/4" N.C. threaded holes on each side of frame. Sixteen holes on back of channel, 9 holes are 3/8" N.C. threads and 7 are 1/4" N.C. threads. Two notches in side of rail. NOTE: Side frames are not interchangeable. Order left for driver’s side and right for passenger’s side or pairs.

Western Star side frame
This frame has nine 3/8" NC threaded holes along the back, seven 1/4" threaded holes along the edge to accommodate the shroud, and two notches on the side. The top flange has 12 bolt holes; seven of them threaded @ 5/16" NC, and the bottom flange has 9 bolt holes; four threaded @ 5/16" NC.

Top flange overhangs 5 3/8" towards engine with two 5/16" N.C. threaded holes on a block that steps up 3/16". Top and bottom flanges have 11 holes each, 5 tapped 5/16" N.C. and 6 drilled clearance for 5/16" bolts. Various other holes for shroud, brackets, etc. NOTE: Side frame are not interchangeable. Order left for driver's side and right for passenger's side or pairs.

Western Star side frame
This frame is similar to frame #5281, with the exception of the placement of the 3/8" threaded holes, and the frame is 1/2" shorter than the #5281.
Note: to build this frame, a sample must be supplied by the customer.

Western Star side frame
This frame has a 5/16" NC threaded nut in each gusset, two "ears" with 3/8" threaded nuts to mount CAC, two 1/4" NC threaded holes along the same edge of the "ears" and four !/4" NC threaded holes along the opposite edge, and 14 3/8" NC threaded holes an the back of the frame.
The flanges have 12 bolt holes - eight 3/8" diameter clearance holes, and four 5/16" NC threaded holes.
