Ford cross flow tank
This low flow tank has a built-in baffle, five 5/16" NC threaded holes and a separating baffle 18 5/16" from bottom to center, a 1" diameter hose connection on approximately a 70
o
angle facing up, a flange next to the 1" hose connection, a 1/2" and a 1/4" NPT flange, two 5/16" NC threaded holes on the top of the tank, and a 1 1/4" diameter hole on the sloped top for a filler neck.

“Built in baffle” has three 5/16" N.C. threaded holes. One 1" O.D. hose connection near bottom straight out 2" long. One drain fitting next to 1" hose connnection. Two 1/2" N.P.T. fittings facing engine. One fitting for sight glass near top. Two 5/16" N.C. threaded holes on top of tank. One 1 1/4" hole for filler neck.

Ford cross flow tank
This tank has a 2 1/2" diameter hose connection, two 1/2" NPT flanges, and a corner of the header is cut off at a 45 degree angle.
Note: the two 1/2" NPT fittings are optional. They are welded on all model #680 tanks but are not drilled through. Check against original tank to see if either one is needed.
